Shipping Information

 All orders are processed using a packaging & handling fee plus UPS charges based on shipping method of choice. The packaging & handling fee covers standard packaging costs. AmericanWhitney.com uses UPS for all shipping. Items are generally processed within 1-2 business days. The shipping time depends on your location. Once your order has been processed you will receive a confirmation email as your receipt. Your receipt information can also be view by logging in to your AmericanWhitney.com account. Once your order has been processed another email will be sent containing the estimated time of arrival. Most orders are received with in 5 days after the order has been processed. However we make no guaranteed of these time frames and they are subject to change on an order per order basis. Certain situations such as holiday traffic may result in longer shipping time frames. Please keep this in mind when you are processing your order. All orders are processed on a first come first server basis.

Tracking numbers of each order will be obtained by AmericanWhitney.com for each order. These tracking numbers maybe shared with customers for tracking purposes. These numbers will be held as proof that merchandise has been delivered.   

Return policy 

All sales are final. There are no refunds granted for items bought. All items are shipped as brand new and in excellent condition. All sizes and dimensions are clearly posted with detailed photos of each item. Items sold by AmericanWhitney.com are delivered as advertised and therefore once the item is received all responsibility carried by AmericanWhitney.com has been fulfilled. There is no buyer’s remorse and all buyers must read the descriptions of the products that they are purchasing.  It is not the fault of AmericanWhitney.com if buyer purchases the wrong product.

Defective Items 

Defective or damaged item(s) must be reported within 15 calendar days of delivery date. Upon the report of a damaged item(s) within the 15 day period AmericanWhitney.com will ship replacement item(s). The damaged item(s) must be returned to AmericanWhitney.com within 30 days after the replacement has been issue. The Customer will be notified of all dates involved with the replacement item(s) once a damaged item claim has been filed. To report a damaged item, please e-mail us via the Contact Us page. The replacement Item(s) will be shipped only after credit card information has been provided to cover the cost of the item(s), if damaged item(s) is not returned. Credit card information provided will not be charged until the full 30 days has passed from the replacement item's shipping date. There is no refund for damaged items and no returns for miss-purchased merchandise. In the case of a damaged item the buyer does have the right to receive credit rather than a replacement item being shipped, however the damaged product will still need to be returned prior to credits being issued. Credits are good for AmericanWhitney.com only and can not be traded for cash. Credits must be used within 1 year of being issued. Mistakes are judged on a case by case basis. 

Warranty Information 

Consumable products carried by AmericanWhitney.com carry no warranty provided by AmericanWhitney.com. Machine items may carry a warranty provided by American Whitney Hand Tools as manufacturer however this will be noted on a product by product basis.
